Enfants Riches Deprimés Distressed Paint Shorts
Product Details
These are the Enfants Riches Deprimes Distressed Paint Shorts in a size 30, a pale washed cotton carpenter short cut off above the knee with raw frayed hems and paint-flecked distressing across the body. They're for someone who wants the workwear-and-punk side of ERD rather than the label's graphic tees, in a piece built to look worn in from the start.
The body is a light grey cotton twill built on a carpenter frame, with a hammer loop, a tool pocket down the side seam and utility patch panels at the leg, then washed down, speckled with paint and worked over with abrasions and visible repair stitching. A tan leather ERD patch sits on the back pocket. They work as a warm-weather short to wear with beat-up boots or sneakers, and the heavier carpenter construction holds its shape better than a cut-off jean does.
What separates them from similar distressed shorts is the source. Henri Alexander Levy runs ERD out of Los Angeles in very small production runs, and the paint and wear are applied piece by piece rather than printed on, so no two pairs read the same. One pair in stock, in a 30.
