Enfants Riches Déprimés Omnipotent Parent Tee White

This is the Enfants Riches Déprimés Omnipotent Parent Tee in white, a slogan graphic tee from the Los Angeles punk-luxury label founded by Henry Levy. It's for someone who wants the feel of a thrifted band shirt executed at designer level rather than a logo tee that reads as a logo tee.

ERD builds its tees on cotton jersey and prints them with written text rather than a house monogram, so the shirt carries a phrase instead of a brand name — here the label's Omnipotent Parent line. White is the plainest ground the brand works in, which puts all the weight on the print and makes it the easiest of its tees to work into an ordinary rotation. Offered here in Large and XX-Large.

What sets ERD apart from other slogan tees in this bracket is the posture: no campaigns, no ambassadors, a deliberately antagonistic set of phrases, and a short list of stockists. Buy it if you'd rather wear a line of text people have to read than a monogram they recognize from across the street.
