Carhartt Double Knee Paint Splatter Pants Tan

These are Carhartt Double Knee work pants in tan, carrying paint splatter across the legs. They're for someone who wants a work pant that already reads as used rather than one that still looks like it came off a shelf.

The double knee is Carhartt's signature pattern — a second layer of fabric laid across the front of each knee — and it's what gives the pant its stiff, straight, slightly boxy drape along with its job-site reputation. Tan is the colorway the brand is best known for, and the paint sits across it unevenly rather than in any kind of repeating print.

What separates these from the clean pairs Carhartt still sells is just the finish: tan double knees with the paint already on them, instead of a blank pair waiting to get there. Buy it if you want that look without doing the work.
