Enfants Riches Déprimés Painted Distressed Double Knee Carpenters Brown

These are the Enfants Riches Déprimés Painted Distressed Double Knee Carpenters in brown, a workwear carpenter pant that ERD has washed, painted and torn so it looks like it spent years on a job site. Buy them if you want the double-knee silhouette with a luxury label's finish and an ERD patch on the back pocket.

They're cut from heavy cotton canvas washed down to a mottled olive-brown, with whiskering through the thighs and fading along the seams. The front has reinforced double-knee panels splattered with white and black paint, a blown-out hole on one knee and smaller rips on the other. The back has the same paint marks, one back pocket torn open at the top, and ERD's orange tab label on the other. Carpenter details are all there: hammer loop, side utility pocket, metal button and rivets. The leg is wide and straight with a frayed hem, so they stack loose over boots or sneakers.

They're for ERD collectors and anyone who wants carpenter pants with more character than a standard workwear pair. What separates them from a thrifted double knee is the cut and the treatment. The distressing is designed rather than accidental, and the Los Angeles label produces in small runs, so pieces like this are hard to find.
